With the release date of Marvel's most-awaited project Eternals inching close, the Chloé Zhao directorial has opened to beautiful early reviews by critics. Not only have they hailed it as one of the biggest and most entertaining Marvel superhero projects to date, but looks like the new set of superheroes introduced by the Oscar-winning director has managed to strike a chord with the movie experts as well.
After multiple delays (due to the coronavirus pandemic), Marvel finally decided to release the project in theatres on Nov. 5, and with just a few days to release, Eternals has managed to come out strong by impressing the critics. Apart from terrific performances by an ensemble star cast comprising of Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Gemma Chan, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Kit Harrington, Richard Madden, Don Lee, Barry Keoghan, Harish Patel, and Brian Tyree Henry, the group of reviewers have also praised Chloé Zhao skills as a filmmaker. With a majority of reviews favouring the masterpiece created by Zhao, the initial reviews of Eternals suggest that it's going to be bigger than Avengers as well. Here's what critics have to say about the film:
The new group of superheroes, known as Eternals, created by Celestials, will once again team up together to control the catastrophe created by the team of Avengers, unknowingly in Avengers: Endgame while trying to reverse Thanos' actions. The Eternals trailer also suggests that they have been on Earth for thousands of Earth, but they didn't interfere in human conflicts due to the instructions laid down by their creator. However, the emergence of Deviants on Earth would bring them all together once again.
